Hundreds of participants from around the world have called this the most unforgettable experience of their lives.

Need to take a moment to thank Jaime and the doctors that allowed us to shadow their daily work life and that exposed us to amazing once in a lifetime vet work and opportunities. From relocating Sable, getting first hand knowledge on the reptile life South Africa offers, Rhino horn trimming, and hyena snare removal the memories and knowledge are something I’ll forever cherish. Huge thank you to Jaime, Christiaan and their family for providing our group these experiences and going above and beyond to make sure our group got amazing opportunities no matter how things worked out. Would recommend to anyone no matter what level of the veterinary field you’re in.

It is an excellent opportunity to be in constant contact with different wild animals, improve the field experience and it is also a great opportunity to meet different people from all over the world. But if you celebrate interest in knowing more about this program, dare enter INTO THE WILD world! Thank you all!! I miss you!!

The 2 week veterinary course with Wildlife Adventures Africa was one of the best experiences of my life! Getting the chance to work so up close with wildlife and get to know daily work of a wildlife vet was inspiring and I learnt so much about the successes and struggles of animal conservation. We had some incredible experiences outside of veterinary work of which my highlights were definitely the canyon swing, meeting the elephants and getting to dart out of a helicopter! Jamie and Chris are the absolute best at what they do and are just filled with knowledge of South African wildlife, and big thanks to Emilie for helping look after us and share her wisdom too! Jamie’s family were so welcoming and the lodge and all the staff are amazing, especially the chef and the food! Thank you for the best two weeks and I hope to come again one day!

This was a dream come true! I dont even know where to start. First the veterinary hands on experience with all the wildlife was amazing! The excursions we went on were all amazing my fav was probably the elephant encounter and cheetah walk! The hospitality was amazing, they treated my brother and I like we were family while we were there. Rion and Mitchelle you taught my brother and I alot about wildlife conservation and much more. Jamie and Christian you guys know how to make people forget about all their worries at home for awhile. Vanessa, you are amazing, you taught us alot and did above and beyond and were so funny. This entire family was amazing the entire trip I have 0 complaints. I will be back but next time I will be bringing my children with me!! Highly recommend doing this trip you will not regret a single thing!

Jamie, Chris, and their family are so wonderful and knowledgeable and have made my experience so unique! I felt safe the entire time and learned a lot about wildlife veterinary medicine and had a lot of hands-on experience. I will say that each trip is not always guaranteed to work with the same species as being a wildlife vet means each day is different and you may not be doing any vet med related work everyday. On our “off” days we did a lot of touristy things which was a great way to explore Hoedspruit! Sometimes you may be working with other vet med groups in the area that are doing similar work which can unfortunately take away a little from doing hands-on things, but having an overall small group of 5 “students” with Wildlife Adventure Africa made this trip all the more personable. 🙂

Chris and Jaime are down to earth people! They really made my experience much more with their personalities. I have never been so close to these wild animals. I learned from wildlife veterinarians and was able to ask as many questions as I had. The experiences in this program do not compare to others! Especially it being all inclusive. The food cooked by Chef was amazing, the rooms were cozy, and the friends I made are wonderful people. Must do this again!
