14-Day Mixed Veterinary Outreach Program

Empowering Communities, Saving Animals – One Outreach at a Time

In partnership with ARRC Foundation, supporting rural communities across South Africa

Join us for a life-changing 14-day veterinary outreach experience designed for animal lovers and aspiring professionals alike. Gain hands-on training while making a tangible difference in underserved South African communities. In collaboration with the ARRC Foundation—a dedicated non-profit—we provide critical veterinary services to domestic animals, livestock, and wildlife that would otherwise go untreated.

This program offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant cultures of South Africa, while engaging in meaningful work. Participants will assist with clinical treatments, vaccinations, and health checks in rural villages, visit commercial farms to work with large animals, and spend time on game reserves contributing to the conservation of iconic African wildlife.

Your journey with us not only supports animal welfare but uplifts entire communities who rely on these animals for their livelihoods and companionship.

Not a Vet Student? No Problem.

Whether you’re a veterinary student, vet nurse, technician, or simply someone passionate about working with animals, this program offers a rare opportunity to gain real-world experience and make unforgettable memories.

Our program covers three core areas: Community, Farm, and African Wildlife.

You’ll work directly with animals in low-income communities that often lack access to veterinary care—offering support to dogs, donkeys, goats, cattle, pigs, and more. Along the way, you’ll engage with local cultures, including the vibrant Shangaan people.

Participants will:

  • Contribute to wildlife conservation efforts
  • Learn safe animal handling techniques
  • Treat minor injuries and wounds
  • Prevent and manage ecto- and endo-parasites
  • Educate local pet and livestock owners
  • Assist in animal health assessments, relocation, and treatments

Experience + Impact = Adventure of a Lifetime

Expect a powerful mix of purpose-driven work and breathtaking exploration. From exhilarating game drives to community-based outreach, you’ll learn from seasoned professionals and contribute to meaningful change.

You’ll visit local farms, support veterinary efforts in rural villages, and work on game reserves helping protect African wildlife.
