Trip Preparation Guide

Arrival Airport:

Eastgate Airport, Hoedspruit (HDS)Eastgate Airport Website

🛬 Arrival Information

Participants should plan to arrive on the first official day of the program, which is allocated solely for arrivals, allowing for flexible arrival times throughout the day.

📩 Arrival Process

Upon your arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, one of our team members will be waiting for you just outside the terminal with a clearly marked sign reading “Wildlife Adventure Africa” as well as your name for easy identification. You will then be transported to the lodge where you can settle in, unpack, and get familiar with the group and surroundings.

The airport’s compact size ensures a quick and seamless meetup and transfer to the lodge.

🛫 Departure Information

The final day of the program is set aside exclusively for departures. We will ensure timely transfer back to the airport. You are welcome to book your departure at any time on this date.

🔴 All participants are required to have valid travel and medical insurance. This is compulsory.

Insurance must include coverage for injury, medical treatment, emergency evacuation, repatriation, and loss/damage to personal belongings. This must be arranged at your own cost prior to travel.

💬 Group Communication

About one month before your program, you will be invited to join a dedicated WhatsApp group chat with other participants on your dates. In this group, you’ll be asked to share your flight itinerary for airport pickup coordination and receive important updates.
